Cultural Events

Are you interested in hosting an authentic Chinese cultural event at your school or planning a trip to the Shaolin Temple in China? The Tak Wah Federation can provide help for members, with these types of projects.

Chinese New Year 
Some of our members have experience planning and hosting Chinese cultural events, such as the celebration of the traditional Chinese New Year. We can provide guidance and support to our members regarding planning (procuring zoning permits, crowd control issues, performance schedules, finding sponsors, etc.) and executing (the history of the Lion Dance!, obtaining media coverage, writing follow-up articles for local newspapers, etc.) an unforgettable event. Promote your school and your Kung Fu program in a fun and effective way. Make a name for yourself in your community. Travel to China
Tak Wah Federation members have traveled with Grandmaster Tak to China, to visit the Shaolin Temple and train with the Shaolin monks.
